In 1938 Andy Boch founded Boch Sales and Service, in Norwood, Ma, as a simple one-car repair shop set up in his home garage.
As business grew, Boch then purchased land on U.S. Route 1, and the new building had a one-car showroom and a well-equipped service department.
In 1947 Andy’s son Ernie Boch joined the business. A born salesman, Ernie started building the sales volume. It was difficult at first because of a low supply of vehicles, but in 1956 Boch Nash sold over 300 new cars.
The early 1960’s was a great time for American Motors and its dealers. In 1963 Boch Rambler (that name was changed when Nash faded away) sold over 2,200 cars, making Boch the largest-volume American Motors dealer in the country.
Ernie Boch continued to grow the business along with his son Ernie Boch Jr., who joined the family business in 1984. Ernie Sr. passed in 2003 leaving Ernie Jr. at the helm.
Today, Boch sells Toyota, Honda, Ferrari and Maserati and is the New England distributor of Subaru. The Boch family continues the tradition of success; Boch Toyota is one of the largest Toyota dealer in sales, in New England and Boch Honda is the number one Honda dealer in sales, in New England.
