About Friends of the GTM Reserve

The Friends of the GTM Reserve is the citizen support organization for the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTMNERR) located on the northeast coast of Florida. Covering over 76,000 acres of preserved land, the Reserve exists to conserve natural biodiversity and cultural resources using the results of research and monitoring to guide science-based stewardship and education. The Friends support the Reserve through fundraising, volunteerism, outreach, and partnerships.
